Spalting is a process that occurs when a fungus invades a species of wood. Though the tree is eventually killed, the final result is a beautiful piece of natural art that woodworkers covet.

We've locally sourced and hand selected our spalted maple to prominently feature this spalting. To tie the piece together we carefully pour an epoxy "river" that creates a truly unique showpiece for your home.
