The Beggs

Brian approached our shop about creating a table that would elicit a feeling of being at the beach. We spitballed some ideas and came up with a great slab option for this piece: Monterey Cypress.

Harvested out of Monterey, California, Monterey Cypress is a sold as “cookies”, or large circular slabs. We cut this material to give the idea of cliffsides and land, and then used a sapphire blue resin with white resin to give the illusion of a swirling ocean with beach foam.
