The Kates

The Kates represented a new challenge for us: can we integrate the artistic elegance of epoxy resin with the utility of a chest of drawers?

We feel like not only did we achieve the goal we set out for, but we superseded it. The Kates is a gorgeous combination of artistry and utility. The interior carcasse is constructed of black melamine, with each outside panel being veneered with black american walnut.

The drawers are made from solid claro walnut with a red resin, and the hardware are sleek, stylish black finger pulls that don’t distract from the overall beauty of the piece.
